They may be very intelligent, but because tests are so important to gauge where a student is with their studies, the anxiety stops them from doing well and their true level of intelligence is missed.

There are things that can help with this, and if a student has it, and it is caught early, it should be easy enough to fix. Once a student gets over having test anxiety they can go on to work at their true potential. They may freeze up during a driver’s test, a job interview, or will simply learn to avoid these things, which may limit quality of life.
